July - August 2004

Lord Stanley's Cup is getting a tan. So am I, except for when it rains. The summer months mark the "rainy season" in Florida.

Pretty much every day, there's rain somewhere in Florida. Sometimes it's raining 10 minutes from me, and I get nothing, just the sound of distant thunder.

On the 26th, went to the SECOND LEAF GAME. Leafs lost this time, 4-3, but the game was quite exciting nonetheless.

On the 11th, the Lorenz family was on vacation near Disney. We enjoyed a lovely dinner while the kids talked about their favourite rides.

On the 10th, a few leftovers...er, holdovers from the wedding went to the FIRST LEAF GAME. 17th row for 11 bucks? Yeah baby!!!! Both teams are in the top 10, and an exciting game ended in a 4-4 tie. Can't wait for the sequel!!!

On the 7th, Cousin Steve married his best friend for many years, Mary Ann. The proof is in the PICTURES. good time had by all.

January 2004

Well finally have a roof over my head, and a connection to the World Wide Web. Yes the weather is terrific. Still have most of my belongings in storage up north, with plans to have it arrive down here.

Looking forward to getting together with visitors over the next few weeks.
